A 4×4 CNC router table has a cutting area of 4 feet by 4 feet, large enough to process full sheets of plywood, MDF, and other common sheet materials. The router spindle is mounted to a gantry system that moves along the X and Y axes to cut designs into the workpiece. For the Z axis, the spindle lowers to engage the material.

Tool changes are handled automatically using a tool changer mounted to the gantry. It holds multiple router bits or other cutters that can be swapped in and out of the spindle as needed for a project. This allows one setup to complete jobs that may require different sized end mills, V-bits, or other cutter types. It eliminates the need to manually change bits mid-job.
